Step 10 – “Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.”
“A continuous look at our assets and liabilities, and a real desire to learn and grow by this means, are necessities for us. We alcoholics have learned this the hard way. More experienced people, of course, in all times and places have practiced unsparing self-survey and criticism. For the wise have always known that no one can make much of his life until self-searching becomes a regular habit, until he is able to admit and accept what he finds, and until he patiently and persistently tries to correct what is wrong.”

We will have cake & coffee and there will be much to celebrate – TOGETHER!
The monthly birthday meeting is held on the last Saturday of each month (except for December when the meeting is held along with a holiday banquet ). The first part of the meeting includes a presentation of birthday medallions for those celebrating annual A.A. anniversaries – all are invited to participate. Birthdays are followed by an A.A. speaker who shares for 40 to 45 minutes and the meeting ends about 8:30pm. Coffee is typically ready no later than 6:30pm. A Note From Central Office
Here we are heading into November. A month we alcoholics call “Gratitude Month. Traditionally, it is the month when our members show their gratitude by contributing what they can to this fellowship. It is an important time. The building we have been in for more than 30 years is being torn down and turned into an apartment building, with construction beginning in January.
We have recently located a suitable new location for our Central Office. We have been at this location for over 30 years, and it has served us extremely well. We have not signed a lease agreement yet, but that should be next. Thank you to all of you for your patience. We should start the moving process in December and, of course, we need assistance,. So if you have a healthy back and a pickup truck – here is a perfect opportunity to be of service. We will pull the details together in early December.
Thanks everybody and Happy Fall!
Look after and support each other and remember that we can’t stay sober alone. Share with others what was so freely given to you.
